Harold articled at Ernst and Young audit division (South Africa) where he played a manager role for 2 years through working with clients like ABSA Capital, The Land Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, Tigerbrands, SASOL (internal audit), Denel Treasury and Scania Finance. He brings audit and finance experience together with the ability to work with various teams in various locations. Harold has also gained extensive experience in the accounting services and taxation field to SMME clientele. He currently oversees more than 7 client relationships and a team of employees. Considering his vocation as an accountant and self-employed businessman, teaching and inspiring others has been his passion. His desire is for the students to learn the right financial principles that they can take with them and apply in life.
Thabiso Madiba - Director

Having articled at Ernst and Young (South Africa) audit division, Thabiso Madiba brings to the team a range of skills and audit experience. Some of this experience was gained through being part of the audit teams that audited clients like Holcim South Africa (Pty) Limited, Denel Land Systems Lyttelton, Investec DLC and Gauteng online. He was also involved with the SASOL internal audit team from Ernst and Young.
Apart from his business responsibilities as a member of Barakabora cc where he overseas over 4 clients, Thabiso is also a lecturer at University of Johannesburg where some of his involvement includes:
• Training Auditor general clerks on accounting and pastel
• Trainer at the tax workshop in Polokwane with the Auditor General.
• SAICA QE 2 qualifying exams marker.

Lyndsay Maseko qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 after completing his articles at KPMG's Energy and Natural Resources division where he gained extensive audit experience while working with clients like SASOL and City power. During his article term he was seconded to the University of Johannesburg for a two month period during which he lectured accounting at a second year level. In January 2008, Lyndsay accepted an offer from the University of Johannesburg as senior lecturer and course co ordinator for Auditing at a third year level. Lyndsay was then also appointed as a part time lecturer on the CTA (B Com Accounting Hons) program. Lyndsay was also appointed as examination reviewer of the APT course (a course necessary for the writing of the 2nd SAICA Chartered Accountancy exam) and became a lecturer on the Thuthuka programme for IRBA.
Doreen Zaki - Director, Barakabora Consulting Kenya Limited
Doreen Zaki has a background in Actuarial consulting with an Honours degree in Actuarial Science from City University London. She focuses on asset and liability consulting, project management and investment group administration plus valuations. She is responsible for the operations in the Kenyan office as well as the actuarial consulting division.
